This chart was obtained from Joan Swaby (Walmsley) Parish Registers - Christened as Richard the son of James and Betty Sandam 2 June 1811 at Hayfield. (Film #23082304) 1851 Census - Richard Sandham is listed on the 1851 Derbyshire census as the 41 year old head of the house in Thornset. His occupation is shown as a carter. His wife is listed as Jane age 43. Living with him are his children Sarah age 15, Alice age 13, Richard age 10, William age 8, Ann age 5 and Abel age 2.
